On an episode of Friday Night SmackDown back in March, Logan Paul made an important announcement related to a new aesthetic change that the WWE will make for its paid live events. For the first time in its history, the professional wrestling company will showcase a sponsor in the very center of the ring, as it is usually done by the UFC.

Paul announced that WWE and PRIME have reached a sponsorship agreement for the drink’s logo to be present in the center of the ring at all WWE Premium Live Events, starting with WrestleMania 40. But then why was the logo a part of the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown? Let’s find out.

Along with KSI, Logan Paul is one of the founders of PRIME, so it was normal and predictable that a large-scale collaboration between the two companies would occur. Despite the fact that other wrestling companies have been carrying out this practice for decades, earlier WWE stood firm in preventing any type of symbolism inside the ring. But like the WWE changed their minds once, they seemed to have done it again, as now it seems like the sponsorship deal is turning out to be really lucrative for the promotion. And that could be the reason why the WWE decided to not just keep it limited to PLE’s but also make it a part of SmackDown.

On his show, ImPaulsive, Paul revealed how getting the spot was tough, as the former CEO Vince McMahon was very protective of the canvas and avoided adding any kind of branding to it.

However, now that it is the Levesque era of the company and with the new leadership of TKO, they have to deliver on a positive bottom line. Paul believed that the space was going to be sold sooner or later, so he took the opportunity to get his brand in there. But while he did manage to get this victory by getting his brand as the sponsor, will he come up victorious in his new feud with LA Knight?

Logan Paul vs. LA Knight feud goes social

The Maverick has been the United States champion for several months. But he seems to have a new challenger on the horizon: LA Knight. The WWE megastar challenged the influencer during last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, emphasizing the desire to win the belt. In fact, the two then feuded on social media after the show went off air. There have been several post-changes between Logan Paul and LA Knight in recent days.

The WWE United States Champion, just as SmackDown was being broadcast live, had responded to Knight by pointing out that he did not care about the challenge. The tones, then, became heated as the days went by, and there were also some very funny insults. L.A. Knight, for example, mocked Paul’s inability to successfully tag people despite being an influencer.

The Maverick’s response was immediate, mocking his opponent by leveraging the absence of WWE titles in Knight’s palmares. This surely is turning out to be an interesting fight. What do you think? Will Paul be able to win the feud? Let us know in the comments.
