Can Jey Uso bounce back from this legal mess, or is his WWE career in jeopardy?

Jey Uso has had a number of difficulties in his personal life, and it appears that one of them was brought up by the WWE on this week’s Smackdown. The July 6th episode of Smackdown was a preshow for the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, and WWE intended to build up to each match in the event.

To deliver a promo, all six guys from the MITB ladder match were in the ring during the opening section of Smackdown, and Drew McIntyre may have pulled off the greatest roast ever.

McIntyre was the last to enter the ring and began roasting everyone in it, one by one. In the end, he was mocking Jey Uso, asking him how he was able to cross the border of the United States as the event was in Canada. This was a direct allusion to the fact that wrestlers with criminal histories are typically not permitted to work outside of the United States, and Jey Uso does have a record.

Speaking of Jey Uso, while he doesn’t have a serious criminal record, he does have a DWI (driving while intoxicated). Fans were stunned to hear this mentioned on WWE TV, as it seems WWE is trying to add a real-life twist to its storylines. McIntyre’s sharp comment about Uso was a standout moment, and the audience’s reaction was spot-on.

But how does Jey Uso feel about this being brought up?

Uso has always been straightforward with his fans, and it appears that he was discussing the same subject during the WWE’s MITB conference. Jey Uso was queried about this at the time, and he stated that he had no idea and was genuinely relieved about his entering the Canadian province. Uso was hopeless and thought that this could have never occurred.

He stated, “I’m just glad I got to get into Canada.”This suggests that there was a major difficulty, but WWE managed to resolve it and force Uso to visit another nation. Although they never let the fans leave out anything hot, perhaps that is why McIntyre brought this up.
