All eyes have been on the Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony featuring the new troop and the return rumors swirling over the lore on June 28th, SmackDown edition, emanating from the Madison Square Garden in New York. The night kicked in with the montage of Bloodline talent flocking into the ring to cut a boiling opening promo. That said, the protagonist of the ceremony, the newest member of the faction, Jacob Fatu, wasn’t seen anywhere during the segment. Does it really shape out as a spoiled Bloodline ceremony or does WWE have something more unique chalked out for the 32-year-old?

Why Jacob Fatu is missing at the start of the Bloodline acknowledgment ceremony

Well, Jacob Fatu is a freak in the ring and a much-needed addition to the Bloodline trajectory. After a lot of back and forth, WWE planted the Samoan Werewolf last week on the blue brand as a new Bloodline sensation. Fatu had a seismic debut attacking the likes of Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens to safeguard Sikoa and left his mark on the division forthwith.

Tonight, as the Bloodline came down to the ring, Paul Heyman asked where Jacob Fatu was. Sikoa paid no heed to him. While everyone was looking forward to his formal welcome tonight, WWE junked him out, probably for a more dramatic storyline.

They might keep him for a bigger moment in the night where he does some savage; possibly fighting against Jimmy Uso. It might also be possible that he’s actually coming in as the tribal chief, as the enthusiasm keeps flying up.

As the night progressed, the show turned into a fireball with the entire Bloodline including Jacob Fatu, collectively unleashing havoc on the Wiseman.

WWE launched Jacob Fatu in a seismic storyline later in the show

The night took a drastic turn when Solo Sikoa introduced Jacob Fatu to the live audience, contradicting his previous statement to Heyman. With an enchanting custom, red lighting, and an infectious theme song, the Samoan Werewolf’s significance to the group and the future prospects was upheld. The tone of the event, however, shifted, with Sikoa asking for acknowledgment from all the stable members. While Heyman declined that, Sikoa lost his cool barking orders to his boys to start the war.

Fatu led the attack, delivering a dangerous top-rope headbutt on the veteran. An allied power bomb putting the Wiseman through the announcer’s table followed.

The injured old man was seen leaving the arena in an ambulance as the show went down.
