Is the family feud between Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns the beginning of the end for The Bloodline?

Jimmy Uso lost to his twin brother on the Night 1 of WrestleMania 40. But that was not the end of his misery. The elder Uso was expelled from his family by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga and has since been absent from WWE’s programming. Now, as we rapidly advance toward SummerSlam, fans largely hope to see Roman Reigns‘ abandoned cousin reclaim his position.

The theory made enough sense as Reigns was also expected to make a high-stake return in August’s PLE, initiating a war against his former Right-Hand man and his team. A reunion with The Usos creates an OG Bloodline vs New Bloodline dynamic, which will bring eyeballs to the promotion. But despite all this, there is still only a slim scope of Jimmy Uso returning alongside the Big Dog, thus delaying the fated conciliation.

Jimmy Uso’s SummerSlam return might take the spotlight away from Roman Reigns

After a shattering title loss against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, the WWE Universe missed the presence of The Tribal Chief. The much-awaited return of the year will be far from ordinary. Given SummerSlam holds a lot of weight in the world wrestling community, Triple H unleashing his most attractive card on the platter during the night sounds convincing. But launching him alongside his cousins could limit the amount of exposure he would get. Given how he has taken the faction forward single-handedly over the past few years, letting him have his moment exclusively at SummerSlam will perhaps be more aligned with the collective emotion.

Also, WWE can launch him on the TV much before the PLE for an excellent build-up. In that case, Jimmy Uso-Roman Reigns’ dual return in SummerSlam will be far-fetched. Moreover, it could prove anti-climatic if Reigns appears with allies without having to work for them, considering the sins he has committed to them in the past.

Nevertheless, Jimmy Uso could appear in a regular edition of WWE programming before SummerSlam to further the agenda of The Bloodline.

Jimmy Uso could comeback in a SmackDown episode ahead of SummerSlam

As per the latest theory, fans might not have to wait until SummerSlam for Roman Reigns’ return. According to a report from PWInsider Elite, Reigns will lace up his boots pretty soon, possibly in an auspicious edition of SmackDown leading to the second-biggest PLE of the year. If we take a look at the scheduled blue brand, Reigns possible return date might be either July 19th or July 26th.

If this is the case, there’s a high chance that WWE replants Jimmy Uso in the scene as Reigns’ sole protector, as he is slated to face multiple threats from his family members upon returning. Moreover, the former WWE Tag Team champion has to raise his concerns against the new Bloodline before ushering in Roman Reigns to solve the problem once and for all.

It will be interesting to see how Reigns and Jimmy Uso will make their way to the lore, leading to an intriguing aspect of the storyline. Do you want Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns to make a comeback together? Let us know in the comments.
