Jimmy Uso cleared to return, but still missing—Is there more to the story than we know?

Following his beatdown at the hands of Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga on Friday Night SmackDown following WrestleMania XL, WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso has not made an appearance on WWE television since. Due to a real injury, the brother of Jey Uso has been absent from WWE programming. And in the meantime, major changes have been brought to the faction. Since Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa have all joined the Bloodline.

‘The Wiseman’ Paul Heyman, too, has been kicked out of the group, while Solo Sikoa, the former enforcer of Roman Reigns, now describes himself as the new “Tribal Chief.” In a report a few weeks ago, it was revealed that Uso has received the medical clearance to fight again as he has fully recovered from his injury. Although the specifics of his return, including when and how are still unknown, the day is certainly drawing near. In fact, his recent picture has been revealed that shows him ready for the WWE.

Prior to his absence, Jimmy Uso had lost to his brother Jey Uso on the first night of the Showcase of the Immortals. Both brothers had also been a part of the match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes on the second night of the legendary event, as Jey Uso tried his best to help the Original Tribal Chief retain his Universal Championship. But now that his Tribal Chief has returned, Uso is still yet to be seen. So why hasn’t he returned?

The reasons behind Jimmy Uso’s delayed return

The babyfaces are helping the heels establish themselves

The Bloodline is truly one of the biggest heel factions in WWE history. The group truly dominated the Stamford-based promotion under the leadership of Roman Reigns. However, the same cannot be said about the group when it comes to the reign of Solo Sikoa. The former enforcer and his men have yet to establish themselves as a top-tier threat worthy of facing opponents like Reigns.

While fans have often showered love on Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa has unfortunately been the butt of internet memes because of his doubtful wrestling capabilities. Solo Sikoa, too, needs to establish himself as a truly menacing leader. As per some reports, Roman Reigns will not be on WWE television for the next two weeks. This will give the faction the faction enough time to wreak havoc on the WWE roster before the Original Tribal Chief returns and brings Jimmy Uso along with him.

The WWE wants Roman Reigns to get desperate

The feud between the Bloodline 2.0 and Roman Reigns is at a draw right now. On the first SmackDown since SummerSlam, Reigns single-handedly took on the Bloodline and stood tall against his former group. On his previous appearance, he was assaulted by Jacob Fatu as the Samoan Werewolf proved his might against the former Tribal Chief.

So in order for the WWE to show that the former Universal Champion is in dire need of help, they have to show the Bloodline getting a constant numbers advantage against Roman Reigns. Once Reigns realizes that he cannot take on the group alone, he will start recruiting again. Getting back the Usos and Heyman on his side once more to fight against his own family. So for now, the WWE is waiting for Reigns to get desperate. Till then, Jimmy Uso will be sidelined and off camera. What do you think? Could there be other possible reasons behind the delay? Let us know in the comments.
