The Bloodline is reforming in all ways. Ever since meeting a dip during WrestleMania 40, the OG Bloodline had failed to inspire terror in the hearts of their opponents and the fans. The constant power struggle among the members, leading to certain breakups, had already weakened the root of the Samoan glory.

Their failure to stop Cody Rhodes emerged as the decisive reflection of their failures. But WWE couldn’t let that lull continue for long and, consequently, lodged some fresh hooks to the storyline.

Solo Sikoa’s changed role as the new rebellious leader, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa’s momentous debut were all part of that far-visioned evolution. But there are some more faces in the queue awaiting their turn to chime in and Jacob Fatu is the most celebrated among them.

The Samoan star has not yet made his debut in the Stamford-based promotion despite expectations outlining a much earlier debut. Why hasn’t the WWE introduced Fatu?

Looking at where the faction currently stands, it’s very likely that the company will drag on that spree of changes, bringing in a few more faces on the buildup to the Bloodline 2.0 era. Jacob Fatu, 31, has heavily been rumored to join the force, but it seems something is holding things up.

Possible reasons for WWE holding off Jacob Fatu’s Bloodline debut: Explained

While Fatu is already rumored to have penned a WWE deal, his entry to the Bloodline at this point could prove a threat to Solo Sikoa’s rising status. According to a report from WrestleVote, WWE officials are having second thoughts on Jacob Fatu’s introduction, as they believe he might outshine Sikoa with his exceptional blend of size and talent. The glorious career graph of the former Bullet Club member supports the notion to the hilt. Secondly, Fatu is a generational talent who has every right to claim a mammoth reception upon his arrival. And what could be the ideal platform for that other than a PLE? Granted, even if BackLash or KOTR seemed to be a great place to launch the new Bloodline attraction, having him on SummerSlam would be grander. So, it is feasible that WWE wants to reserve the Fatu card for August’s extravaganza, who knows?

Last but not least, delaying the inevitable might be Triple H’s way to hold the hype longer, leading to a more vociferous response. While the gap between Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa’s debut was minimal, WWE might not want to do the same with Fatu, for obvious reasons. His special debut demands special attention that can only brew enormously if given time.
