Cody Rhodes drives a bus for comfort—Is he setting a new trend in WWE or just being extra?

Cody Rhodes is currently enjoying the most fruitful run of his life in WWE, as he has become the biggest babyface champion since he completed his story at WrestleMania 40. Not only that, but Rhodes has accomplished a lot in pro wrestling to cultivate and foster the fan base he has now. Although he has returned to WWE, it appears that he still has disagreements with other superstars.

Cody Rhodes has ascended to the pinnacle of WWE and now no longer uses the wrestlers’ locker room. Instead, the former AEW star has his own bus in which he prepares for his matches and comes out when needed. Rhodes spoke on “My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox” recently and discussed his bus and why he uses it.

The American Nightmare explained that he had to get dressed in a different suit every hour, which is why he prefers a whole case of his clothes. Not only that, but he feels horrible for other wrestlers because he believes it will give them the impression that he is different from everyone, which is why he always tries to get wrestlers to come to his bus to sit about and engage with him in a conversation.

The current Undisputed WWE Champion stated, “So, I’m a busy guy, so when I walk in there I’m always making sure like, ‘Hey, hi guys, how are you, thanks for having me’. Just because I don’t want them to think like, uh, this guy on his bus, changing suits every two minutes, this freaking guy is carrying this robe for him. So, I always try to invite people on the bus too. I try to lure them on there, but, you know, it’s different. You’re older, entering the prime of your career, that bus is so nice, man.”

Nevertheless, for Rhodes it doesn’t always come across as a privilege as he misses the familiar old feeling he is used to.

Cody Rhodes occasionally misses spending time inside the locker room

Although having a personal bus is a major benefit, it appears that the American Nightmare still misses being in the locker room. In the same interview, Cody Rhodes subsequently mentioned that he sometimes feels he should be in the locker room with other wrestlers to interact and have a good time.

This would also help him make more friends and wouldn’t sow discontent amongst other less established stars. Rhodes currently has a big fight ahead of him as SummerSlam approaches, and he needs to prepare for his match against the current Head of The Table, Solo Sikoa. This encounter has the potential to be unpredictable, which will be exciting to watch. He will surely be spending more time on the bus as he looks to overcome one of his biggest challenges so far.
