Cody Rhodes gained his long-awaited prize last night, beating all the odds. Before we could even process the ecstasy of living a fairytale end of the greatest WrestleMania of all time in history, Monday Night Raw descended upon the Wells Fargo Center with Triple H introducing the new Undisputed Universal WWE World Champion to the world. And with this, we officially ushered into a new era. But there was more to it. The Chief Content Officer had something special cooked for the American Nightmare in the form of a tributary video package. While the idea was great, WWE made a noticeable change in the airing ad for a reason.

WWE introduced a new set-up for airing Cody Rhodes’ special video package on Raw

The video featured Cody Rhodes’ breathtaking journey of finishing the story. Starting from his forgotten gimmicks to all the breaking moments of a storied ride, the video had it all. However, there was a little bootleg. The company opted for a small monitor to air the video instead of the giant Titantron to get more fans to see it.

While the setup looked a bit strange, the emotion attached to the content won over it in the end. The segment went down with The American Nightmare giving a soulful hug to The Hunter.

However, the video package is not the only surprise Triple H had for the current needle-mover of his company.

Triple H pumped up Cody Rhodes’ spirit with a special gift after his monumental success

From the very beginning of Cody Rhodes’ second WWE run, the company has been pushing him to the limelight. Despite placing a tremendous blow on his way during WrestleMania 39, they never killed his mojo. The loss was nothing but a stepping stone to his eventual success. And after Rhodes connected all these dots after reaching his ultimate dream last night, he bowed down with a grateful heart.

While paying his gratitude to Triple H and the company during the post-show press conference, the former AEW star revealed another special gesture by The Game ahead of his historic WrestleMania bout.
