LA Knight has finally become the United States Champion, defeating former champion Logan Paul at SummerSlam last Saturday. Everyone was taken aback when they realized how long they had to wait to see the hottest megastar in the industry with a title. Although LA Knight is now champion, it appears that many people are still perplexed as to why Triple H waited so long to crown The Megastar.

The answer to this question is much simpler than it appears. So far, Triple H was not persuaded that LA Knight would be capable of handling a genuine title reign. The Game wanted to ensure that he did not slip up in a running effect, so he gave Knight enough time to grow himself. When the Creative Director certified that the Megastar was ready, the plan was carried out.

This ensued during the most recent MITB post-show conference, where Triple H learned how much Knight had grown in popularity over time. When asked about the Megastar and why he has not yet won a championship, The Game responded with a simple line: those who wait will reap enormous rewards in the future. Even though it is late, Knight is still the company’s Champion, and it will be intriguing to see who will challenge him first.

After such a long time, LA Knight has finally won a WWE championship, and Triple H may have kicked off this reign with a lot of animosity.
