The two giants of the Hollywood industry can not seem to figure out the middle ground here. It all started in 2016 when The Rock openly criticized the franchise’s producer, Vin Diesel, for having a brash attitude on the movie set.

However, the real ruckus started when the former WWE champion took to Instagram in a now-deleted post where he called out the “men” on The Fate of the Furious movie.

Eventually, the pair reportedly clashed several times during the filming. It seemed like a fallout on the set between the two Hollywood stalwarts, which was enough to drive ‘The Great One’ away from the legendary franchise.

What did Vin Diesel say about Dwayne Johnson’s exit?

There was no direct response from Diesel. However, he also took to his Twitter and wrote that in his home, his kids calls The Rock, Uncle Dwayne.

However, one tweet from Vin started a frenzy when he invited ‘The Rock’ to rejoin the cast and the franchise for the grand finale of the franchise and this is what the late Paul Walker wanted.

Diesel talked about his relationship with The Rock in 2017 after he exited the franchise.

Vin revealed that he and Rock are close but differently. He also jokingly shared that in his house, his kids often refer to The Rock as Uncle Dwayne.
