The Judgment Day is the most dominant faction in the WWE right now. When The Judgment Day walks out, fans in the arena know that something big is going to happen. A WWE Hall Of Famer created this faction. But as time went by, the whole crew turned on him and kicked him out. We are talking about none other than ‘The Rated R Superstar’ Edge.

For people who don’t know, The Judgment Day came into existence in April 2022 at WrestleMania 38. This all happened when Edge beat AJ Styles with the interference of Damian Priest. This led to their unholy alliance leading to the formation of The Judgment Day.

Then at WrestleMania Backlash, Edge defeated Styles with the assistance of Rhea Ripley. Thus making her the newest member of the dominant group. Later, after having a minor feud with Finn Bálor, Edge introduced him as a member of The Judgment Day. However, that proved to be his undoing. On the same night, Bálor, Priest, and Ripley suddenly attacked Edge. Priest even gave a razor’s edge and put Edge right through the commentator’s table that night.

But while the whole WWE universe was in a state of shock, this was Edge’s decision right from the start. And reliable journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio confirmed the same. He stated that the Rated R Superstar never wanted to be part of the group anymore as he didn’t like the supernatural direction of the group. Meltzer said, “The turn was kind of a last minute thing… He was told that they wanted to go in a supernatural direction with the group and he didn’t like the idea, so they said ‘Well we’ll take you out of the group”.

And then, as we all know, Edge finally celebrated his 25 years in WWE in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. Post that, he joined rival promotion AEW and on Saturday; he was part of his first-ever AEW PPV Full Gear.
