Is Logan Paul’s 'Shaun' jab at LA Knight a genius move or crossing the line?

Logan Paul has been the United States Champion for almost 250 days, and while he has made the belt seem very good outside of WWE, it appears that wrestling fans are not thrilled with his being champion. The reason for this is clear: he has held the championship for so long and has only defended it twice during his reign. However, his title reign may be coming to an end shortly.

LA Knight, the megastar of this age, has yet to win a WWE title, but it appears that he has selected which one will be his first, as he is pursuing the US Championship. Both wrestlers have been going back and forth for a long time, and on this week’s Smackdown, they finally met in the ring to talk about having a match for the Championship.

The segment was intended to set up their battle at SummerSlam, and WWE did an excellent job of constructing this match. Logan Paul was outstanding on the mike, pushing LA Knight so far back that he even called him ‘Shaun’ at one point in the segment. Some fans were perplexed as to what he meant by this, but it was a significant move because Knight’s real name is Shaun Ricker. This implies that Logan Paul was only trying Knight’s patience by calling him out by his true name.

At SummerSlam, who has the upper hand between Logan Paul and LA Knight?

As you know, both of these superstars are enormous in WWE, which is why this match is getting a lot of attention right now. People are perplexed between the two of them, and it appears like either of them may walk away from the PLE as your United States Champion. However, one of them has a tiny advantage over the other.

Logan Paul is a part-time wrestler, and while he has raised the United States Championship by allowing non-wrestling fans to view it, it may be time for him to drop the title. WWE may surprise everyone with this decision, giving LA Knight the much-needed championship win he deserves in the business. Only time will tell what WWE does at SummerSlam.
