Did Liv Morgan dodge a bullet by breaking up with Enzo Amore? What do you think?

Enzo Amore is truly a controversial name in the pro wrestling business. During his time in WWE, he formed a stable with Big Cass and Carmella in NXT, becoming one of the most beloved groups among fans. When he reached the main roster, he continued for a few more months with Big Cass, until he was betrayed by the big guy. After this, he went to the Cruiserweight division, where he became the cruiserweight champion as well.

But with these highs also came the lows. Amore was not well-liked by many of his peers while he was in the ranks of WWE. Over the years, several stories have emerged about his behind-the-scenes conflicts with other superstars of the Stamford-based promotion. However, one incident that shattered him on the inside was getting dumped by Liv Morgan. The current women’s champion was in a relationship with Enzo Amore from 2016 to 2018, but decided to call it quits. But do you know why? Let’s find out!

The controversial star and Morgan apparently knew each other even before they got into the WWE. Amore had several jobs before joining the WWE, and one of them was as the manager of a local Hooters. Liv Morgan too worked in the same outlet as a model and server. It was there that the two met and became friends before Amore introduced her to the business. But it was during their NXT run that the two started dating.

However, Morgan then dumped Amore as rumors of cheating arose. In fact, it also made it to the WWE, as during a match, Corey Graves, who was on commentary, said, “Enzo cheats to win matches; he cheated on his girlfriend.” Cracks further began to show when Amore uploaded pictures of him apparently on a date with Halle Berry. Something that irked the WWE Universe as well.

His habit of hanging out at clubs and throwing away cash did not help his case either, and Morgan had no option other than breaking up. While the two no longer maintain touch, the breakup did hurt Amore enough to release a song titled ‘Liv A 30 For 30’, as he has now turned into a rapper. Something that would seem like a waste of talent to a WWE veteran who believes Amore surely could’ve landed another role in the promotion.

Road Dogg shares his thoughts on Amore

Enzo is currently away from professional wrestling. After being fired in 2018 after being accused of sexual assault, a case that never went to trial, he left for MLW. After some time in that company, he left and decided to focus on his career as an artist, as he is a rapper who has released several songs. But it is worth remembering that Amore was one of the best WWE superstars on the microphone. He had a lot of charisma and made entertaining interventions that the audience liked very much. That is why many people considered that he should dedicate himself to being a manager and retire as a wrestler. One of those people is Road Dogg, who commented on what Amore’s career would have been like if he had only been a manager.

He said, “I think Enzo Amore… If he was just a manager, that could also pop up and take a bump, and you get five minutes with him if you beat his big dude or whatever. I always thought he was the guy that could have been the next great manager in sports entertainment/professional wrestling.” In addition, he mentioned that Amore was the type of manager who could get involved in the matches and take or receive a blow, but that it was something sporadic. The important thing was to use the skills that he had with the microphone. But alas, that seems like a pipe dream now.

What do you think? Should the WWE bring back the rapper to become a manager now? Let us know in the comments.
