Did Jacob Fatu get a raw deal, or was Tonga Loa the better choice for tag champion?

On this week’s Smackdown, Jacob Fatu was replaced as WWE Tag Team Champion, and the unexpected thing is that Tonga Loa now has the championship. This was a surprising decision because WWE could have just made Loa win it with Tama Tanga previously, but instead, they replaced him with Fatu. However, the true reasons for WWE’s action may have been disclosed.

We’re all aware that Jacob Fatu is the only member of the Bloodline with the strength to stand up to the OTC Roman Reigns. The confrontation between the two was excellent, and fans are excited to see more from them. WWE appears to have swapped the hands of the title in order to save Fatu for Reigns. Furthermore, by doing so, they may simply conserve Fatu’s in-ring talents and increase his value because he only fights when necessary or he only fights when big problems show up.

Moreover, we all know that SummerSlam was one of Bloodline’s worst setbacks since Jacob Fatu suffered an injury at the event. That specific ankle ailment did not improve over time, and it is speculated that WWE could have given Fatu more time to recuperate by stripping him of the belt. Triple H may have been thinking ahead of time, preferring to play the long game rather than push things at the present.

These are not the only reasons, but WWE may possibly be considering other aspects of the Bloodline that want adjustment in addition to Fatu.

Tonga Loa can profit immensely thanks to Jacob Fatu.

We all know that the WWE Universe does not take Tonga Loa seriously, so booking him to win the championship would not have looked good. Because of these factors, the organization took the long approach and declared Jacob Fatu as champion, after which he handed over the title to Tonga Loa so that the plot could go as planned.

As you are all aware, Jacob Fatu is primarily concerned with Reigns, and the Tag Title was only one aspect of the tale WWE was attempting to tell. All of this is guesswork, and we cannot make any claims until a report confirms anything. However, it is true that WWE made a daring decision to appoint Loa as their new Tag Team Champion. Now, only time will tell us if the company’s bold move worked well or not.
