Dwayne Johnson has a strict workout and diet plan, which he religiously follows every day. However, there are days when he enjoys having a cheat meal or two. Though he mainly follows a clean and healthy diet to maintain his Greek God-like physique, he indulges in savoring his favorite cheat meals now and then.

That said, he once allowed himself to eat a gigantic meal of 12 pancakes, 4 double-dough pizzas, and 21 brownies. But when and why did he have such a big meal? Scroll down to find out.

A cheat day after 150+ days of intense and clean diet

An actor has to make many accommodations and adjustments to adapt to a role in a movie. Johnson played the role of Hercules in his 2014 movie also named Hercules. As you know Hercules is a Greek God, therefore, to look like one, the Hollywood actor had to make even more altercations to his already strict diet plan.

For 172 days, he had not only a strict but clean and intense diet comprising of 7 meals a day for the movie role. After such a rigid meal plan, he allowed himself to enjoy a big cheat meal to compensate for the days he missed his favorite cheat meals while filming the movie.

Along with diet altercations, Johnson also had to deal with other stuff while filming the movie.

Johnson’s 2014 Hercules movie had a budget of $100 million. From the set to the costume and makeup, everything had to be impeccable. This is why ‘The Rock’ had to sit through an extensive makeup routine every day before the filming of the movie.

In an interview with Conan O’Brien, he mentioned that the makeup and getting ready process used to be about 3 and a half hours long. On top of that, he had to wear a wig made of yak pubic hair. Yes, you read that right. His makeup artist, Mateo, disclosed to him that yak pubic hair is very soft hence the wig.

If that was not all, he also had a blackout incident while filming the movie. In the interview, he explained that while filming a movie scene, he even lost consciousness as a repercussion of being tied to real steel chains to shoot a clip. A few seconds after screaming, “I am Hercules,” he fainted.
