A museum in France recently unveiled a new wax figure of Dwayne Johnson, placing him in the esteemed company of Oscar winners Maryl Streep, George Clooney, and Leonardo DiCaprio. It happened at the Grevin Museum in Paris on October 14, Monday.
While it was a proud moment for ‘The Great One’, netizens online turned it into a ridicule session. Apparently, the wax figure looked nothing like Johnson, making it a subject of mockery from the whole wide world.

When the photos of Johnson’s wax statue at Paris’ Grevin Museum went viral on the internet, fans started pointing out obvious flaws. The very first thing that everyone noticed was that Johnson’s wax figure looked more like his Fast and Furious costar, Vin Diesel, and less like the WWE legend himself.
The next flaw that fans noticed which made them mock the wax figure was the color of its skin. It looked very pale, which is not how Johnson is in real life. This led fans to even call the statue “White Rock,” implying that the artist didn’t take Johnson’s skin color into consideration while making his wax figure.
‘The Rock’, with his muscular physique and charismatic presence, proudly embraces his Samoan roots. In his films, he skillfully weaves in the vibrant tapestry of his Hawaiian heritage. However, the sculpture fails to capture the essence of his Hawaiian heritage.
Fans making fun of his wax statue may not be what Johnson hoped when the museum in France unveiled it. But the WWE icon is not the one to take such matters to his heart and whine about it.
