“Whole Lot Sicker in the Future”: Paul Heyman Drops Possible Spoilers for Roman Reigns’ Future Feuds Including LA Knight

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns returned for the season premiere of SmackDown. This was after months of not being seen on the WWE network. Fans were excited to see The Head of The Table back on SmackDown, but Reigns had a new opponent, LA Knight, hinting at a match set for Crown Jewel 2023 on November 4. However, prior to the match, Reigns’ advisor, Paul Heyman, dropped a big spoiler.

Heyman has been The Wiseman and an advisor to Reigns since his heel turn. However, sometimes, Heyman’s cryptic message could be foreshadowing.

The season premiere of SmackDown saw John Cena opening the show. However, the celebration was cut short when Reigns made his return. This would lead to Cena calling out for LA Knight to make his entrance. Knight had previously teamed with Cena to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at Fastlane 2023.

Reigns and Knight had a bit of back and forth before solidifying the match at Crown Jewel. This is a massive push for Knight as he is one of the most over-wrestlers in the WWE. The WWE Universe and fans love Knight, and online, the fans want him to win. This would be the first massive title win for Knight.

However, fans know the WWE’s booking and know that Reigns will come out on top. To clarify these speculations, a clip from Heyman has been circulating. In an Instagram video, Heyman answers a fan’s comment who was tired of seeing Reigns win. To this, Heyman said, “You’re sick of The Tribal Chief Winning? Oh, you’re gonna be getting a whole lot sicker in the future.”

This seemed like a massive spoiler for the upcoming Crown Jewel match against LA Knight. Despite the fans wanting Knight to finally break Reigns’ reign as the Universal Champion, the chances of Reigns winning are higher. Furthermore, this line could also hint at Reigns’ future feuds.

Since they first squared off at WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes has sought revenge against The Bloodline. Despite his several attempts, he could never get his hands on Reigns. Fan speculation suggests that the WWE is saving this match for WrestleMania 40.

However, listening to Heyman, it seems the WWE will not let Reigns lose any time soon. This reflects on Reigns’ babyface run, where he would not lose a match despite the overwhelming odds stacked against him.
