Dwayne Johnson wowed everyone in the WWE Universe with his mega-electrifying entrance. With his music going on amidst the lightning and the thunderbolts he stepped into the fired Brahma Bull logo. While this definitely complemented his Final Boss gimmick, he also carried a special ‘badge of honor’ on his shoulders.
Dwayne Johnson entered the WrestleMania XL arena with a golden customized belt sporting his logo. The belt also carried an inscription that said, “The Peoples Champ.” The Rock raised this belt when he entered the ring and received massive cheers from his audience. However, a pro wrestler seems to have taken offense to this act by Johnson.

Matt Cardona, aka Zack Ryder, was a former WWE wrestler from 2006 to 2020. Cardona upgraded from his toy belt to a custom one during a July 2011 house show in Australia while defending his Internet Championship. Hence, when Dwayne Johnson also came up with a custom-built belt Cardona didn’t waste time and fired shots at him.
Cardona took to X and tweeted, “Who would ever walk out to the ring with a custom title? Woof.” The fact that even Johnson walked in with a belt did not sit right with Ryder.
Recently, The Final Boss honored his late grandmother, Lia Miavia, who was in the Hall of Fame Inductees. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson surprised fans at the Wells Fargo Center, joining Lonnie Ali to celebrate Muhammad Ali.

During the ceremony, Lonnie Ali praised The Rock for adopting Muhammad Ali’s moniker, “The People’s Champion.” She then unveiled “The People’s Championship” belt, specially designed for The Rock. The Rock entered the ring and graciously accepted the belt.

So now Cardona’s remark sounds like a satire as he came up with a custom belt idea in the first place. However, we cannot definitively state this but the fans are sure to find it funny. While coming with a custom belt may seem odd to Matt Cardona, The Rock has done more than just walking the arena with the custom belt. In fact, he has taken over the entire WrestleMania with his new powers as a TKO Board Member.
When the custom belt is not even the tip of the iceberg for The Rock
After becoming the Final Boss and becoming a TKO Board Member, Johnson has taken over the WrestleMania XL. He forcibly inserted himself into Night 1 of the main event and shifted Seth Rollins’ title defense into a non-main event match of Night 2.
Johnson also came up with the ‘Bloodline’s Rule’ match idea. Now these rules have never been used before and is a super fresh idea in wrestling. However, the rules are not very clear but the father of the Uso brothers did offer an idea of what it could be.
“I’m talking about, you’re talking about anything from trash cans to tables to sticks to chairs to whatever that they find in that arena,” said Rikishi, speaking on The Rikishi Driver Talk Show. According to him, anything can happen from Heyman being the referee, no countdown to several sneak attacks from Solo Sikoa. Everything is possible. Johnson made a deal that if they won the tag-team match, then this rule would be implied.

And alas! Cody Rhodes and Rollins did lose and now Rhodes has to face the wrath of the Bloodline members. Moreover, in today’s match, Johnson even scared the match referee from counting him out during the match with his official authority. Ultimately, he ensured that Bloodline’s rules happen no matter what.
