Another star who is gaining some spotlight ahead of WrestleMania 40 is Maxxine Dupri. While getting some attention might be good, Durpi has not endured the best of times. She was first booed by fans during a live house show a few weeks ago. To add to her misery, Candice LeRae launched a verbal attack at her which caused her to walk out of the tag team match. Every year after WWE’s year ends with WrestleMania, the next major PLE is SummerSlam. Right before the Slam, WWE have their tryouts to find their next star. WWE’s NIL (Next In Line) is something that helps college athletes try to enter the world of WWE with the help of their athletic portfolio. One such name that attracted attention was that of Anthony Luke who happens to be the 26-year-old star‘s boyfriend.

However, the journey did not stop him just there. The talent scouts took a liking to his displays and recruited him to NXT. Well, that is something that is still debatable as he has yet to make his in-ring debut. Luke was a former San Diego State University defensive lineman. She was seen on the NXT’s Chase U segments a couple of times.
He was selected along with other talents such as Ajiea Lee Hargrave, Derrian Gobourne, Destinee Brown, and Peyton Prussin. This happens to be a huge deal for Luke as he happens to be among a select few who get the chance to make it to the television.

On this week’s episode of Raw, Dupri had to hear some
harsh words from Candice LeRae. She reminded Maxxine Dupri that she was not liked by anyone in the locker room and also about her late brother. Apart from that, Dupri has been having a hard time fitting in as she has 0 wins to prove herself on the roster.

Clearly staying with the Alpha Academy has not worked for her and she might look for an alternative. She could follow down a path similar to that of Drew McIntyre. Frustrated at not having any wins and being trampled by other stars, she might turn heel. On top of that, her boyfriend could be drafted to Raw and could be one of her sidekicks following WrestleMania 40.
