WWE Monday Night Raw on March 11 saw a controversial moment during the tag team featuring Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile vs Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. The in-ring action wasn’t the only drama that happened at the moment. LeRae called out Maxxine, telling her how much she is disliked in the women’s locker room.
Things took a personal turn when The Alpha Queen’s late brother was mentioned. LeRae backed Dupri into a corner and began berating her. She later brought up her brother who passed away at a young age.

Maxxine Dupri was born on 19th May 1997. Although not much information is available on her family, we know for certain she wasn’t the first-born to her parents. She had a brother named Wyatt Zmrzel, who was born on March 5, 1995. Dupri and Wyatt Zmrzel also had another sister who is away from the public eye and not much is disclosed about her.
The WWE superstar and her family lost her brother in 2017 when he was barely 22 years old. Wyatt suffered from seizures and couldn’t properly use the right side of his body because of a rare genetic condition called adrenoleukodystrophy.
Reportedly, the wrestler’s late sibling had to use car services to get around because of his physical condition. On a night in late December, his life came to a sudden end after his Lyft driver pulled onto a Highway at a rural intersection straight into the path of a Toyota 4Runner.

This tragic reference to Maxxine Dupri’s life was brought up by Candice LeRae, but that was not the only personal attack she made during the match.

Even after the end of the show, Candice LeRae showed no remorse at all for her comments and ridiculed Dupri further, showing a side of herself that has not been seen for a long time now. LeRae referenced the debate centered on a clip of fans heckling Dupri at a February house show. Candice said, “You know why people are booing you, right? Because you don’t belong here. Oh, does that hurt your feelings? If you think the internet hates you, you should hear what the girls in the locker room say. Oh, are you gonna cry? It’s a good thing your dead brother isn’t here to see what an embarrassment you’ve become.”
In response, Dupri said she was “not doing this” before moving to leave the ring but Hartwell caught her with a boot and pinned her to win the match for her team.
Maxxine Dupri, probably after having a lot to process, took to her Instagram to drop photos from the match with a simple three-word message to reflect on the situation. She captioned the post, “feeding my focus.”
