Is there anyone worthy enough to be John Cena's last opponent at WrestleMania 41?

John Cena is a walking WWE icon, and it appears that the face that runs the place has officially determined that he will not be in the ring for long. Cena surprised everyone when he made a surprise appearance at the WWE Money in the Bank PLE, stating his intentions of not granting his fans a random appearance or competing on WWE TV. He was here to declare his retirement from the in-ring competition in WWE.

This has stunned most of the fans and it appears that WrestleMania 41, which will be held in Las Vegas, will include The Cenation Leader’s last match. Several superstars might face Cena, but one name who could be the Hollywood star’s final boss is Dwayne Johnson.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who has played an important role in Cena’s career, could emerge as the most appropriate pick to confront him again. The reason for this might be that Cena interfered in the main event at WrestleMania 40, assisting Cody Rhodes in winning the Undisputed WWE Championship over Roman Reigns. Although these are only rumors, it will be interesting to see which superstar Cena faces at WrestleMania 41.

Although Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is widely rumored to be Cena’s final opponent, it appears that another wrestler who is also a professional wrestling legend might be his final opponent. We’re talking about fourteen-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton, with whom the former WWE champion has shared the ring a lot of times. But is this possible?

Can Randy Orton become John Cena’s last opponent?

Many superstars want to be the last man to step with the greatest of all time, but Cena’s most intense rivalry in his entire career was with The Viper Randy Orton. They had a terrific synergy in the ring and were two of the top wrestlers that ran the whole PG era. They had been in the industry for almost 20 years. A lot of storylines can be told with these individuals, and the WWE can arrange a lot of things if they want this to happen. So far, the rumor mill has earmarked Orton in a match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, but it appears that now that Cena has announced his departure from the ring, WWE may tweak those plans and create something fresh with what they currently have.
