Come November 4, John Cena will enthrall thousands of Saudi Arabian pro wrestling enthusiasts inside the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh. The WWE icon has been advertised for the fifth edition of Crown Jewel, a PLE specific to the Middle Eastern country. This will be Cena’s first Crown Jewel match after he didn’t take part in the inaugural edition in 2018.

But who is the Leader of the Cenation facing? While the WWE has yet to name Cena’s opponent at the event, there are a few options available for him. Let’s find out John Cena’s probable opponents for Crown Jewel 2023.

Will John Cena go up against the youngest Bloodline member?

Out of all the options, this one has the most potential. Cena could take on Solo Sikoa. The Enforcer of The Bloodline needs a push in his career and who better than the 16-time world champion to do him the favor?

Of late, Cena has been busy putting emerging stars over. At WrestleMania 39, he lost against Austin Theory in a title bout. Theory managed to defend his United States Championship. Next, he paired with LA Knight to collect a win at Fastlane in September, giving momentum to the SmackDown star’s career.

Sikoa, who is due for a big push, could find the ultimate launching pad in Cena. A win against the 46-year-old will give him the credibility he needs to challenge current champions for a mid-card title. But, what if it’s not Solo Sikoa? Who will Cena butt-head with?

Jimmy Uso could be John Cena’s next opponent

Cena’s feud with The Bloodline started with Jimmy Uso. Sikoa only got involved later, after his older brother was taught a hard lesson by Cena.

There is a chance that Jimmy Uso could face Cena in a singles match at Crown Jewel 2023. The motive is similar to Sikoa, except Jimmy will not go after a title. A win against Cena will elevate him as a singles player, and when the time comes, it’ll set up an even contest between him and Jey Uso.

At this moment, Jey Uso is red-hot even as a singles player and Cena could wipe away that deficit from Jimmy Uso’s corner by putting him over.

This is the second most likely match-up prediction for Cena’s Crown Jewel adventure. The third match-up, even though unlikely, is a fascinating one.

Cena could get involved in a tag match against Sikoa and Jimmy Uso

At Fastlane on October 7 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana, Cena and LA Knight took on Sikoa and his older brother Jimmy, and won the match. Saudi Arabia could witness retribution from the Anoa’i stable.

With LA Knight likely to lock horns with Roman Reigns, who then will partner Cena? It could be Jey Uso. The junior Uso twin lost his tag team belt after being attacked by former partner-turned-enemy Jimmy Uso on the October 16 episode of RAW. Jey Uso could now form an alliance with Cena to take on his former stable and avenge the humiliation.

This will also free Cody Rhodes as a singles star and allow The American Nightmare to pursue his dream of completing the story, which is a tag team setup isn’t likely.
