WWE barely fails to grace the roster with new quality additions from time to time. The statement applies even more aptly as far as the company’s developmental brand is concerned. NXT has been widely known for its reputation for fostering diverse and dynamic talents all across the world over the years. And tonight, as we rolled up to a jacked-up NXT Stand and Deliver episode, it seems we have already spotted who is shaping to steal all the spotlight in the WWE’s third brand next.
It’s the Japanese wrestling icon, Giulia. The 30-year-old’s surprise attendance at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday afternoon ratcheted up her rumored WWE debut theory. Let’s peep through all the intriguing details about the future NXT sensation.
Who is the new talk of the WWE town, Giulia?

Giulia, originally known as Eimi Gloria Matsudo, hails from an Italian-Japanese bloodline based in London, England. Right after her birth, her family reverted to their native place (Japan) and offered her an average childhood. The fated wrestler used to work in an Italian restaurant before the Squared Circle took over her life entirely in 2017. Her journey from a make-up and hair enthusiast to the monumental pro-wrestling figure was no less than a destined sequel.
After a brief stint in the Ice Ribbon, Giulia explored her wrestling mojo in the indie circuits for a while and achieved significant height there. She is currently honing her craft under the banner of World Wonder Ring Stardom and almost eying the end of her contract. Initially, multiple reports emerged suggesting WWE’s keen interest in taking her in and the star’s nod to it. However, later there was a delay in the almost-slated WWE signing as the Stardom bigwig was busy assisting Rossy Ogawa (Stardom founded) in kicking off a new promotion.

However, with tonight’s NXT appearance, it has been more than clear that the standstill is now over for her.
Giulia becomes a bona fide NXT superstar at NXT Stand and Deliver tonight
WWE camera spotted Giulia among the audience just before the NXT Women’s Title match featuring Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez kicked in. This marked her first-ever on-screen NXT appearance.
WWE has a record of signing plenty of superstars like Drew Mclntyre, Ricochet, etc in the crowd during premium live events and they did the same to Giulia without altering her previous pro-wrestling moniker.
