Who Did Summer Rae Date?

Summer Rae will officially make her comeback to WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble. If you don’t know who she is, she was a women’s wrestler on the roster from 2011 to 2017.

While she is most popularly known for her time on Total Divas, she played a massive role in developing the NXT Women’s division. She helped Sasha Banks, Paige, and even Emma become the stars today.

She was a great addition to the roster until she got injured in 2016. Summer even tried to quit, but Mark Carrano did not let her. After a year of inactivity, WWE released her from her contract in 2017, and she completely stopped wrestling.

Summer has had some memorable storylines with Fandango, Lana, and Rusev. Some even suspected that she was dating Fandango while they were a duo. So was she really into him? And who is Rae dating now?

Did Fandango and Summer Rae date each other?

Fandango’s gimmick was a dancer, and Summer was his valet and partner. She made her WWE debut alongside him, and they both had a run until 2014.

Over a cryptic tweet on Twitter, Fandango ‘broke up’ with Summer, and Layla became his new dance partner. Summer was written off TV as she had to shoot Marine 4.

However, a few months later, Rae returned, attacked Layla, and kissed Fandango. The story went on for a few months, which ultimately resulted in the two women teaming up against Fandango and making him lose his matches.

Unfortunately, the team of Summer and Layla did not last long as the latter underwent surgery. Fandango and Rae never actually dated in real life despite so much drama on-screen.

They went out on a date for Total Divas, but beyond that, there was nothing between them to say otherwise. If they did date, there is no evidence to prove that.

Who has Summer dated?

Following the Fandango storyline, Summer became involved with Rusev on-screen. Lana and Ziggler turned against Rusev, and Rae joined him in an on-screen relationship.

Rae then proposed to Rusev, but he declined the offer, and his real-life relationship with Lana was unveiled. The two then broke up, and Summer got her revenge against him by helping Ziggler win a match against Rusev.

Later, she formed another on-screen relationship with Tyler Breeze, announced on Miz TV. She began managing Breeze, but in 2015, they amicably split and went their separate ways.

These relationships were not genuine and were just for various storylines. According to CelebsCouples, she had at least one relationship previously. She has not been engaged once.

There is no information about who Summer has dated in real life. However, in 2018, she was seen vacationing with NHL player Tyler Seguin.

The two were spotted in Cabo San Lucas taking a boat ride. However, it looks like the two are not together anymore as he is dating another girl.
