WWE often appoints a (or a couple of) host for WrestleMania. Sometimes, they are selected from Hollywood, and they even take part in the main show.
This year, WWE chose the hosts from their very own family. Almost one month ahead of WrestleMania, WWE announced Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil as the hosts for their first PPV with a live audience in the post-pandemic era.
Outside of the squared circle, Titus is heavily involved with various non-profit organizations. His works vary from children’s education to charity visits to hospitals.

WWE recognized his works with the “Warrior Award” in 2020. This award made O’Neil the first active WWE wrestler to receive that honor. Hulk Hogan, on the other hand, is a two-time Hall of Famer.
Hogan headlined the first nine editions of WrestleMania and is a six-time World Champion. He was first inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 and then again in 2020 as a part of nWo.
Why did WWE choose Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil as their hosts this year?
Hogan hosted WrestleMania multiple times before. His contributions to establish WWE as the giant of Sports Entertainment can never go unnoticed. Hulk is such a prominent face that both old and new generations recognize him.
WWE described Hulk as a “larger-than-life icon and a pop culture phenomenon” on their official website. Rightfully so, his appeal is still universal despite his departure in 2003.
On the other hand, WWE described O’Neil as “one of the most philanthropic Superstars in WWE history and a former WWE Tag Team and 24/7 Champion.”
WWE wrote further, “A fixture in the Tampa Bay community and passionate about giving back to families in need, O’Neil founded The Bullard Family Foundation, an organization that provides families and children in need with special moments, programs, and resources to help build character, develop relationships, and strengthen communities around them.”
