Bill Goldberg is a freak of nature, and having a superstar like him on your wrestling promotion is always a win-win situation. However, the WWE Universe knows that Goldberg confirmed earlier this year that WWE will employ him till 2023, where he will wrestle two matches per year.

However, something is odd here. Goldberg already wrestled two times before his brutal clash against the former WWE Champion ‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley at the WWE Crown Jewel PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, they reported that the former WCW Heavyweight Champion has a separate lucrative contract with him where he will wrestle annually for the Saudi Arabia events.

How many matches are left or Goldberg?

As mentioned earlier, Goldberg has a clause with WWE where he will wrestle two exhibition matches in a single calendar year. Eventually, this means that ‘The Icon’ will not be wrestling for the rest of this year.

However, the good news for the 54-year-old fans’ is that the next year is not very far. Before his fight against Lashley at Crown Jewel, Goldberg had mentioned how he wanted to give back to the young wrestlers.

Eventually, it looks like WWE will not be putting titles on his shoulders anymore and the Hall of Famer will work as someone who lifts the morale of the locker room.

One interesting clash the WWE Universe can see is the WrestleMania match that never happened: Roman Reigns vs Goldberg. Back in 2020, WWE was working in a storyline where both individuals were involved.
