Roman Reigns, much like his Hollywood cousin, has gone on a hiatus, most probably to complete his remaining Hollywood projects. The wrestler reportedly appears in two upcoming movies and one of them is Good Fortune with Aziz Ansari as the director. The cast looks impressive, with Keanu Reeves on board to play the role of a guardian angel.

Although not many details have come to light about the film, the interesting nature of these details has kept the hype alive among fans. If you are one fan who is growing impatient about this project and Roman Reigns’s imminent WWE return, then you have come to the right place.

When can we expect Roman Reigns’ film shooting to end?

Good Fortune had already begun shooting when The Tribal Chief was engaged in the iconic feud against the now-reigning WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. Cinemacon 2024 took place from 8th to 11th April and according to reports, by this time, the movie had almost finished filming. The remaining part was left out because of Keanu Reeves’s fractured knee that he suffered by tripping over his trailer rug. Now that Reigns is also on a hiatus and Reeves must be in a much better condition, we can expect the shooting to wrap up by July this year.

Given the current storyline that The Bloodline is following in WWE, reports suggested that Roman Reigns would return to the promotion in July to start his potential redemption arc in the Stamford-based company. Given the circumstances with the production of Good Fortune, this schedule is unlikely to cause any clashes between Reigns’s two professional commitments at the moment and he could be back right in time for the Money In The Bank PLE.

Fans can expect this film to come out in late 2024. However, Reigns won’t be done yet for the year as he is reported to show up in one more.

Reigns to do another heist comedy

There are a few similarities between the two upcoming heist comedies, including Joseph Anoa’i. One is that they are both in the same genre, and the other is that Keke Palmer is reportedly working alongside him in both films. However, The Pickup is a whole other movie that has likely not even begun production at the moment.

So, fans would have to first indulge themselves in Good Fortune before coming to The Pickup whose release date is still a mystery. If this works out for the former WWE Undisputed Champion, then we may get to see more of him in the entertainment industry besides the wrestling promotion.
