The Rock congratulated Rhodes on his victory at WrestleMania XL. The Final Boss acknowledged his hard work and dedication. However, the underlying air of tension was undeniable. Fans have said the entire segment was eerie, unlike anything The Rock had done before. Moreover, to heighten things, Johnson asked Rhodes if he could hold his title. The new champion accepted the offer in exchange for the People’s Championship title belt. As The Brahma Bull dawned the belt, he claimed it looked better on him. The Rock did mention he was going away for a while. This is to film his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine. The principal filming will begin on May 1 and is reported to last for the next three months until August. However, August also had SummerSlam, which could be the starting point for this feud. Or if Johnson arrives earlier, he could build up to a match at the PLE. Johnson has made it clear that he will continue his heel Final Boss persona moving forward. While Rhodes dealt with Roman Reigns, The Rock will live up to his new Final Boss moniker.
