After building a whole empire with his brilliant intellect, Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the company last month. Thanks to Mr. McMahon’s creative thinking over the years, pro wrestling has evolved into a tremendously profitable industry that has earned him a billionaire. The WWE fanbase still doesn’t know a lot about The Big Man despite his more than 40 years in the industry.

There is a common misconception among fans that McMahon was always wealthy. McMahon wasn’t always wealthy; he worked hard to become a billionaire, as per his daughter, who took over the company following his retirement.

To put things in perspective, WWE CEO Stephine McMahon appeared on the Howard Stern Show in 2002. She was popular in the pro wrestling world at the time due to her notorious villain persona. The ‘Billion Dollar Princess’ revealed a lot of interesting stuff on the show about her life, her relationship with HHH, and her father.

Stephine was questioned about her father and what it was like for her to have a wealthy parent. She then remarked that McMahon wasn’t always the wealthy man and recounted the little-known story.

She stated, “Actually he wasn’t always (rich man) from my childhood he was but for my brother he wasn’t. Actually, when my mother was pregnant with me my dad had to take her to the courthouse and their car broke down and he was actually in a tow truck to declare bankruptcy. So he really is a self-made man.”

The story implies contrary to popular belief, McMahon had experienced financial difficulties in the past, but he overcame them with tenacity and turned the business into a worldwide success, making him a billionaire.

Does Stephine McMahon possess the same leadership skills as Vince McMahon?

During the same interview, she stated she had been in the business since she was a teenager and had worked for it for a considerable amount of time. Thus, she is totally aware of all aspects of the business. Additionally, she and Triple H put on amazing shows when McMahon retired, which signals that the business has a bright future.
