After a breathtaking wait for months, Wyatt 6 unleashed their first official in-ring debut in the jam-packed main event of the August 5th episode of WWE Raw. The opponents were not new to the sinister group. Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers, as usual, fell victim to their wrath and received a beatdown. But this wasn’t the ultimate cynosure of the Wyatt 6 debut antics tonight.

They made a slow, surreal entry to the ring with an old Bray Wyatt diluting their belligerent tone, unlike what they did at the original Raw debut on June 17th.

Wyatt 6’s mesmerizing in-ring debut theme took over the August 5th edition of Monday Night Raw

The revival of Bray Wyatt’s effect has always been the central motive of Uncle Howdy and his faction in the WWE division. Howdy, the most eccentric creation of Wyatt, had an untimely wrap-up of his roles after his brother’s demise. Eventually, the collective grief of not getting to see Windham Rotunda and the family propelled the WWE brass into replanting Howdy and his troops on Raw through a riddle-filled rigmarole.

The faction introduced itself to the red brand with a promised massacre backstage where Chad Gable and a lot of other WWE stars were spotted laid out. After the spine-chilling sight started to haunt the audience, Nikki Cross led others (Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gracy) to come out of the dark. Uncle Howdy finished the segment being the last one to chime in with the signature lantern in his hand. Things have been moved much ahead since then. The cryptic VHS tapes revealing the real identities and motivations of all the members took over the sanity of the WWE Universe while Gable continued to be the sole target of the group.

Following the SummerSlam snub, the group loomed large on Raw tonight. They made the Bray Wyatt-themed entry in their respective character masks, leaving fans in awe. The astonishment lingered long as they successfully picked up the pinfall victory against the ‘American Made’.

Did their absence at SummerSlam compensate through this epic entrance?

Did Uncle Howdy's debut theme on Raw live up to the hype, or was it a letdown?

Why Wyatt 6 didn’t show up at SummerSlam?

A SummerSlam appearance would have made much sense for Wyatt 6. There were two reasons for fans speculating about it for such a long time. The first was Alexa Bliss’ teased return as a 6th and final member of the faction. Little Miss Bliss has a strong tie with Bray Wyatt and was widely rumored to join forces with his family on Raw. She was nowhere on the debut might but the return tease kept on escalating, leading fans to believe that WWE might hold her off for SummerSlam. The second was that August’s PLE looked like an ideal place to settle the score between Chad Gable-Uncle Howdy once and all. However, that didn’t happen.

Reports suggested that WWE planned the Wyatt 6 debut on August 5th, the next Raw after SummerSlam for the group was supposed to give this heartfelt tribute to their fallen star, Bray Wyatt at CFG Bank in Baltimore, the same venue where the Wyatt family made their debut in 2013. And the choice is all worth it. Michael Cole concluded the segment, noting, ”I can guarantee you that Bray Wyatt is looking down, proud of what was accomplished tonight.”
