Is The Undertaker fully retired?
After an exceptionally triumphant three decades career in wrestling, The Phenom finally hung his boots on 22nd November 2020 at the WWE Survivor Series 2020. The Undertaker bid a heart-warming goodbye to the WWE Universe at Survivor Series.
The Phenom made his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series. Precisely after 30 years in the WWE, he made his ‘Final Farewell’ at the event.
The 55-year-old stated, “For 30 years, I’ve made that slow walk to this ring and have laid people to rest time and time again. And now my time has come. My time has come to let The Undertaker rest in peace.” The chairman of the WWE has also accepted that The Undertaker is fully retired.
How many times did Undertaker retire?
The Phenom retired from WWE wrestling twice in his career. The Deadman first retired in 2017 at WrestleMania 33. For the second time, the Big Dog Roman Reigns broke the legendary 21-0 remarkable streak.
The Phenom bid a final farewell to the wrestling industry after his last match against AJ Styles. At the Survivor Series 2020, Taker announced his second retirement to the WWE Universe, marking his final farewell.
How long did The Undertaker retire?
After retiring the first time, Taker came back a year later to beat WWE Champ John Cena at WrestleMania 34. The Undertaker also faced the likes of Goldberg and DX after 2017.
However, the 56-years-old wrestler worked part-time after that for the WWE Universe. The Lord of Darkness had his final match at WrestleMania 36 for the one last time to defeat The Phenomenal AJ Styles.
The Undertaker’s first retirement and reception by fans?
Many wrestling fans believed that The Phenom retired from the WWE in 2017. The Undertaker appeared to have exited the first time in 2017 after Roman Reigns defeated him at WrestleMania 33. The Deadman left his gear in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33, indicating the end of his wrestling career.

It was an emotional moment for the WWE fans when The Phenom dropped his legendary hats and gloves in the ring. The fans were disappointed when they saw Roman Reigns smashing the WWE legend. The Undertaker even broke character and kissed his wife Michelle McCool, who was sitting by the ringside.
