Since an auspicious summer day back in 2002, the man, the legend, and the Cenation leader handed us a lot of striking memories to look back at throughout his decades-long WWE journey. Cena almost took a semi-retirement in 2020 from the squared circle, but couldn’t stay away for long. The 47-year-old made various appearances in a part-time capacity as he juggled a thriving Hollywood career. After a storied WWE tenure, the veteran chose the MITB stage to bid a permanent goodbye to his fans. His farewell tour comprises the Elimination Chamber 2025, Royal Rumble 2025, and WM 2025 being his full and final match. Have an interesting take?

John Cena has cemented his place in the business for an eternity. The prolific figure, however, started as a newcomer like the others with no bed of roses arrayed in the way. To talk about the notable moments of his career, we can’t just overlook the initial failures that shaped him into the prized global superstar that he is today. In his rookie days in the blue brand, Cena performed a Vanilla Ice impersonation to commemorate Halloween. It was a turning point in his career, leading to the making of the Doctor of Thuganomics gimmick. Although it didn’t see much of a splash, the vengeful rapper served fans with some solid entertainment.

Unleashing his Super Cena image for the very first time, The Champ took out Big Show for the US title at WrestleMania XX. The first title run of his career eventually led him to have the first world championship-winning moment against JBL at WrestleMania 21. The surreal victory chants would have been much louder if only we could know we were seeing a living legend who would do it 15 more times down the line.
