There’s no doubting the impact that Cody Rhodes has had in the wrestling industry in the past few years. From being a nobody in the indies for years, he went from NJPW to Impact! and then opened his own promotion with friends, AEW. In that company, which some consider a rival to WWE, he had amazing matches as well. But it wasn’t until he came back to WWE that he entered the peak of his wrestling career.
Not only is Rhodes getting the main event spot regularly, despite not being in the title picture, but he is also beloved by fans. Now that WWE is holding big PLE events in other countries, the audience is outpouring their love for the American Nightmare. Commenting on that, his wife made a tweet that divided the fans completely.

At the WWE Night of Champions media event, Cody Rhodes got a glorious reaction from the crowd in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This led his wife, Brandi Rhodes, to tweet the love that Rhodes has been able to garner from fans all over the world. But instead of congratulating her husband, Brandi Rhodes went the other way and called out people who want her husband to return to AEW.
And some people still say he should have stayed where he was…maybe we should let that one go for now.

While his loss at WrestleMania 39 made a lot of fans disappointed and want Rhodes to go back to WWE, everything changed with his recent victory against Lesnar. Rhodes picked up a tremendous victory at Backlash and hopes to do the same in a few hours as well.
But one thing that no one can take away from Rhodes is his ability to get the crowd behind him. Whether it is Puerto Rico or Paris or Saudi Arabia, Rhodes is garnering massive cheers from the crowds. Even just a simple hug to Sami Zayn in the middle of the ring got Rhodes an enormous pop. Despite that, Brandi Rhodes’ tweet did not sit well with the fans.
With one tweet, Brandi Rhodes divides fans over her husband’s fame in WWE
Brandi Rhodes outright called out people calling out Rhodes for his shift to WWE when he helped build AEW in the first place. There is a lot of tension between the fanbase of both the promotions and Brandi Rhodes just fanned the flames even more.

Let it go forever. He's right where he always needed to be.

Even though this fan is at an AEW show, they are cheering for Rhodes.
SO incredibly happy for him. I'm here at DoN, thinking of where and how it all began. You both were SUCH a huge part of that. So happy for you then, and BEYOND thrilled for you now!!!
This is INCREDIBLE. Cody's star can never be dimmed. He's undeniable. This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌

Cody is a man that always bets on himself and wants to try new things. That's how you stay ambitious and motivated. More importantly, you never feel stagnant. I'm proud of him and he's a big inspiration to many.

This fan is having none of Brandi Rhodes’ tweets.
You're right, it's better to be a sellout and a weak-minded man for not being able to handle rejection from an audience of adults to run to a place of children to get the applause he so desperately needs. Pffft

Maybe you should get off Twitter, because you SUCK at it…
Just like in the ring.

This fan is calling out Brandi Rhodes for her failed work at AEW.
I don’t think anyone should take anything the leader of “The Nightmare Collective” says seriously https://t.co/CeY2E6JWtN pic.twitter.com/bHKUsJf70H

It's really lame to do this when up until now, Cody and AEW have been cordial about everything, at least publicly. Tony even shouted him out for the All In announcement. https://t.co/gEAf6U3VFb

Whether you are supporting Brandi Rhodes or you are against her, it is clear to know that both houses, AEW and WWE, love Cody Rhodes. We hope he can get out at the top in his match with Brock Lesnar in a few hours.
