Charlotte Flair is one of the select few people blessed with a rival. Flair is currently gearing up for the upcoming Wrestle Mania XL. The 14-time WWE Women’s champion recently opened up about going head-to-head against her longtime adversary once again. Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair are strong rivals who have fought for dominance in the Women’s division. Flair has always shared an honest opinion about Sasha.

Speaking about Banks in an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Flair began, “We’ll see what WrestleMania XL brings, but you know what’s crazy? Think of how much better we are now than we were then.”

She mentioned that both superstars have shown paramount growth. “We’ve both grown so much, you can’t even compare it to before,” said Flair. Banks is getting treatment for an injury and is wrestling for NJPW. She has not confirmed when she will be back. Charlotte Flair also spoke about facing getting another shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at Wrestle Mania XL.

Flair will be heading into her eighth Wrestle Mania if she confirms her berth for the event. Charlotte has already overtaken her father, Ric Flair, regarding Wrestle Mania appearances. Flair also said she is more open about a new record she will set.

Claiming the record for the most number of World title wins

Charlotte Flair has featured in seven Wrestle Mania events so far. Interestingly, all her matches have been title matches, and she is in no mood to break her streak. “I’m betting on myself being the champion or challenger. Brock Lesnar is the only other person to do that,” said Flair.

John Cena and Ric Flair currently hold the record for winning the World titles the most number of times. While both superstars stand at 16 wins, Charlotte Flair just needs three more title wins to surpass them. “I’m so close. For so long, I stayed away from discussing it. But I’ve done every single thing there is to do, and this is my next goal.”

Ivo Sky currently holds the WWE Women’s Championship. Sky cashed in the Money in the Bank contract and beat Bianca Belair moments after she became the new champion at SummerSlam. Rhea Ripley is the Women’s World Champion and we could see Flair and Ripley colliding against each other for the third time at WrestleMania.
