Sheamus has been on a rejuvenating path in his career after forming the ‘Brawling Brutes’ faction with Butch and Ridge Holland. The trio has faced the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and the Imperium in some absolute top-draw matches. However, Sheamus fell short in his quest to win the Intercontinental title and become the Ultimate Grand Slam champion.

Sheamus recently got in the way of the Bloodline and wrestled Solo Sikoa last week on SmackDown. After the match, The Bloodline brutally attacked him, writing him off TV. The reason for this angle was that Sheamus could take time off to get married.
