“Wearing Panties”: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Heavily Trolled Online for Questionable MMA Training Attire

Dwayne Johnson has been focusing on his Hollywood projects ever since his last appearance in WWE on Raw after Mania. One of the upcoming films that will feature him is The Smashing Machine. The Rock will play Mark Kerr, a real-life UFC fighter. The plot of the movie revolves around personal and professional challenges during his prime years in the MMA industry.

Although Kerr was also a wrestler, he had to train for MMA as well. As a result, Johnson has to undergo special training for an accurate depiction. A recently shared training video on social media sparked some interesting replies from fans.

Why is Dwayne Johnson’s training video getting trolled?

The WWE legend can be seen training in a squared circle. In the comment of the post, he revealed that it is from the first day of his training camp where he will undergo some MMA training to justify his role as Mark Kerr in the upcoming movie The Smashing Machine. Although the video has a rather serious tone to it, fans could not contain themselves when they spotted one odd thing while looking at the post.

In the training video, we can see The Brahma Bull grappling with the trainer while also practicing his punches and kicks. To make his body flow comfortably, he is covering his torso with an oversized tank top, pairing it with a speedo. This latter part of his outfit is what caused the fans to troll him in the comment section. This is only a glimpse of the changes that Johnson would have to undergo for the film. So, more trolling comments may be on the way.

Johnson’s name gets dragged into the mud for wearing a speedo

Fans had mixed reactions to the Hollywood star’s costume on the Instagram post. However, a lot of them were making fun of his training attire because it resembled underwear more than ‘training wear’.

His oversized tank top presented an illusion that Johnson may not be wearing anything to cover himself below the waist. Taking this hilarious illusion as a base, a fan commented, “Bro training with no pants on😭😭.”

Someone made fun of his speedo by saying, “Nobody wants to grapple with a guy wearing a speedo js.”

A viewer wants Johnson to ditch his attire and wear something different: “Needs to ditch the speedos.”

An internet user questioned the WWE legend for training in ‘underwear’: “Why is bro wearing underwear?”

Someone compared it to another set of underwear in the comments: “Why is bro training with a THONG LMAOOO.”

At last, we have someone calling out Johnson for wearing women’s delicates to the ring: “Dawg wearing panties.”
