“We Play That”: Dwayne Johnson Gives an Account of an Interesting Beach Game He Plays With His Daughters

Dwayne Johnson is a fun-loving guy. His imposing build might suggest otherwise but the wrestler-turned-actor does not shy away from displaying his light-humored side from time to time. His witty nature is one of the many reasons why he is so popular with the masses. However, when it comes to his daughters, Johnson does not mind being the object of fun.

The ‘People’s Champion’ is more often than not on a tight schedule. It is thus difficult for him to spend time with his near ones. The 10-time WWE champion lets his daughters take over when he does get some free time. He once discussed a game that his daughters love to play with him.

Dwayne Johnson opens up on a game he plays with his daughters

Johnson sat down with BBC Radio One Breakfast show last year. The interviewer questioned whether he liked to still make sand castles on the beach with his daughters. The Great One responded with an extra bit of information. He said, “I do, that’s a big deal and then I gotta lay there and I gotta get all the sand on me. Like, we play that.”

The baffled show host then asked whether Johnson’s kids buried him in the sand. He replied in affirmation, “Cover daddy yeah”. The Brahma Bull certainly seems to enjoy spending quality time with his family.

And that includes revisiting his own childhood days to intermingle with his daughters. But that is not the only game that Johnson’s daughters like to play with him.

In a past interview, he mentioned another activity his daughters loved to do with him. The WWE legend disclosed that they called it daddy close your eyes. He added, “So daddy close your eyes when Jazzy says it who’s six usually it’s peanut butter to the face. When Tia says daddy close your eyes when last time we played daddy close your eyes I closed my eyes she came up she hit me right in the balls and they love and laugh.”

Well, that’s certainly a game that Johnson wouldn’t be fond of much. But like a good sport, he always goes along with the fun. Not only with his children but also with his peers. One does not need to look further than his pre-Oscars banter with Emily Blunt.

Dwayne Johnson is on the move most of the time. Hence it becomes all the more essential that he reserves some precious moments of his busy life for his family. And judging by the various games Johnson enjoys with his daughters, it seems he spends his time quite wisely.
