“We Just Left It”, – KSI Reveals Rejecting “A Few Ideas” Offered by WWE to Make a Massive SummerSlam Debut

WWE is one of the most dynamic sports entertainment platforms. It has always tried to involve celebrities from other arenas to give its viewers premium entertainment. WWE recently drafted famous YouTuber Logan Paul into its ranks to capitalize on the traction and entertainment value he brings. Moreover, Paul’s business partner, KSI, recently made his maiden entrance into the WWE at WrestleMania 39, where he helped his YouTuber ally. This raised questions about the PRIME energy drink partners teaming up in WWE anytime soon.

KSI recently appeared on the MMA Hour to answer questions about his possible involvement at Money in The Bank last month and how close he was to have another WWE appearance.

KSI on playing a role in Money in the Bank

KSI’s appearance in WWE showed him as a gag character with the sole purpose of entertaining the crowd. KSI has played the role of a helper of sorts for Logan Paul. He interfered in the match between Logan Paul and Seth Rollins during WrestleMania but could not offer much assistance to Paul as he absorbed a Frog Splash from him.

On MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, KSI was asked whether he was a part of the plans during the Money In The Bank contest which featured Logan Paul. KSI confirmed that there were talks regarding the matter. However, nothing fruitful was gained from it.

He said, “We had a few ideas but decided it wasn’t gonna work. So we just left it, and I just decided to watch it since I was in England. Yeah, it was sick.”

KSI said he has a lot of respect for Paul and was amazed at how he did it. Helwani later asked KSI if he would also like to join the WWE. 

The difference between watching and joining: KSI 

KSI said that while he greatly respects Paul and what he is doing, he would not like to join WWE. “I would never do it myself, no chance, but I fully respect it,” he said.

He added that Paul continuously put his body through hell and seamlessly performed all the acts without breaking a sweat, which is commendable. KSI said that he has always enjoyed watching WWE but can’t think of actually joining it.

He exact words stated- “Yeah, he just fits wrestling so well,” “I’m just like, what other YouTuber could do that so seamlessly? He puts his body through hell. It’s not easy. But I respect it”.

The duo of KSI and Logan Paul is a huge hit with the YouTube community. The pair has a lot of influence on the internet. Logan Paul pitched several WWE appearance ideas to his friend KSI in the past, but only one has borne fruit so far.
