WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, Kofi Kingston, injured his knee after being in the ring twice at the latest episode. Since then, he has provided an update about the knee injury.
“You know, I’m gonna be alright. This is not ballet, as they normally say. I’m gonna be just fine. You know, we had a bad night tonight, but we’re gonna bounce back.”

Even though he said they will bounce back, staying true to their Tag Team name – The New Day, it does not seem like an immediate action. His walk revealed that he will need ample rest to recover.
Kofi Kingston had to battle twice on WWE Raw
Kofi Kingston had to wrestle twice during the episode. His first match was against Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin tried to secure the win by throwing Kingston out of the ring. However, Benjamin ultimately ended up in the barricades.
As he came back inside the ring, Kingston attacked him with a Trouble in Paradise. He defeated Benjamin in singles action.

It was during this match that Kingston’s ankle took a bad landing.
This is the second time Kofi Kingston and Shelton Benjamin have been in singles matches against each other. Previously, during the 2008 edition of ECW, both of them had their first televised singles match.
Kingston’s loss at the hands of Cedric Alexander
Coming back to Monday Night Raw, even though he won that match, Cedric Alexander called him back inside the ring soon afterwards for a second match. This time, Cedric Alexander’s entire focus was on the injured leg.

Now, since this match was immediately after the previous one, Kingston was still hurting from his injury. He hurt his leg a second time when he jumped off the rope, but missed.
Alexander ended up winning the match via pinfall using a Lumbar Check.

It is possible that Kofi Kingston is doing nothing but selling the injury. He may not have a busted knee or ankle.
