Dwayne Johnson has been under the radar since WWE announced his presence at WrestleMania 40. Some fans are also unhappy with the decision because of the drama that Johnson found himself caught up in. Although Seth Rollins has no problem with The Rock being at Mania this year, he still wants the WWE legend to acknowledge his superiority as the World Heavyweight Champion.
Dwayne Johnson may need to look out for Seth Rollins
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins doesn’t hold himself back from calling out his opponents. We saw him do the same to Cody Rhodes in a recent tweet. This is slowly building toward a potential WrestleMania 40 title bout. Despite having a storyline to focus on, Rollins also decided to aim at Dwayne Johnson as well.

During an appearance on Good Morning Football last Wednesday, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion felt like being controversial. As a result, he took it upon himself to call Dwayne Johnson out on behalf of the whole WWE roster.
“If @TheRock wants to ride my coattails into Wrestlemania, that’s fine…We don’t need ya…we’d love to have ya… but we don’t need ya, big guy.”

In a clip that Peter Schrager posted on his Twitter account, we can see Rollins warning Johnson to stay away from the company, saying “We don’t need ya…we’d love to have ya… but we don’t need ya, big guy.” Rollins also said, “I got no problem with The Rock jumping on and doing his business for us, man. We appreciate having him. Just like I said, he’s riding my coattails; he just needs to remember that.” While this subtle dig doesn’t come with an ultimatum, we may see the 37-year-old causing trouble for Johnson in the future.
Since the current scenario between Johnson and Rhodes is a hot topic in the wrestling industry, Rollins used it as leverage. He isn’t the first to do so to gain a little bit of publicity from the situation. After retiring from his WWE run, Matt Cardona went on an indie circuit. Recently, Cardona was in GCW’s ‘Coldest Winter 2’, where during a segment sometime around his match, Cardona took a shot at Johnson taking Rhodes’ spot at Mania despite being a part-timer in the company.

After Cardona, Rollins utilized the same opportunity for his own gain. Is this WWE’s way of trying to find a new feud for The People’s Champion after he got caught up in the ‘We Want Cody’ controversy?
