“We Dedicated a Three Hour Show to Old Has-Beens”- WWE Superstar Trashes the WWE Legends Night

Retribution leader Mustafa Ali was irate when he appeared on RAW talk. The charismatic leader of WWE’s doomed faction was upset for a good reason.

In a three-hour show dedicated to WWE’s legends, Retribution and Mustafa Ali did not feature at all. He went on a rant and absolutely destroyed WWE for putting on a farce of a show called WWE Legends Night.

“I am agitated, I am angry, but most of all im confused. We dedicated a three-hour show to old has-beens. A night like tonight is exactly what is wrong with WWE.”

Mustafa Ali’s rant has some basis in truth as WWE has been known to favour nostalgia over pure talent. The former Cruiserweight was visibly irate with WWE, claiming that this is what’s wrong with the company.

Ali got a little disrespectful when he called the legends a bunch of has-beens who cannot walk. Charly Caruso, the host of RAW Talk, asked him if he heard the cheers that the legends received to which Ali had a hilarious response, “Yeah, they pumped those cheers in real good for them.”

This was a very good burn from Ali regarding the crowd noise in the Thunderdome being artificial.

“They paved the way. They carved a path. When do I get to walk on that path?”

This line from Ali really struck a chord as it proves that WWE does not care about its current talent as much as it cares about its former talent. It is a travesty that Torrie Wilson or Teddy Long get more television time on RAW than an active Superstar.

Retribution takes over RAW Talk, sends a message to Ricochet

Last week, Mustafa Ali defeated his former tag team partner Ricochet in a scintillating match. The high-flyers put on an amazing battle that ended with Ali choking Ricochet out with the Koji Clutch. After the match, Ali tried to recruit his former friend into Retribution, but he hoodwinked the faction and escaped.

On Raw Talk, the irate Mustafa Ali called out his faction members and delivered a message to Ricochet. Ali claimed that his fellow high-flyer is already a member of Retribution, but he doesn’t realize it yet. Ricochet wants to bring a change in WWE, and the only way he can do it is by joining Retribution.
