“We Ain’t Laughing and Joking”: Dwayne Johnson Reveals How a Legendary Wrestler’s Words Motivate Him to Beat Procrastination

So, on the first day of 2023, The Rock posted a video message to all his fans, sharing his secret of accomplishing his goals. Further, he also quoted a pro wrestling legend, who might not be with us, but his words are enough to move someone from within.

He makes sure to remind his fans to buckle up and be consistently disciplined to achieve their goals. In one such recent video, he remembered The American Dream and quoted his wise words. 

He said, “I’m gonna quote one of my pro wrestling heroes. he’s no longer with us, the American dream, Dusty Rhodes. He’s up there walking in the clouds with my dad, the soul man, the Rocky Johnson, Dusty said, ‘we ain’t laughing and joking, we’re cooking and smoking, we went out there and handle business.’”

Once he quoted the lines that came out from one of the great names of professional wrestling, he pushed his fans to achieve all their dreams. Meanwhile, he also reflected on one idea that he religiously follows and asks all his fans to do the same.

The People Champion then shared his mantra, “One day or day One.” He also explained the difference in our attitude while working on our goals.

The Hollywood actor then described that an average person usually delays his work by saying, ‘one day I will do it’. Whereas he should say that today is Day 1 and I must start working right now to achieve my goals.
