WWE has done some pretty wacky stuff in the past. This includes Stone Cold’s beer truck raid, Brock Lesnar dancing, Shawn Michaels zip-lining down to the ring in front of thousands of roaring fans. However, nothing quite beats the time WWE killed Vince McMahon!

Yes, you heard that right. Back in 2007, the CEO and Chairman of the company sat in his limousine that immediately exploded and was engulfed in flames.

The entire episode that day was gloomy. Vince McMahon had lost his ECW title and was in the doldrums in WWE. The staff then decided to lift his spirits by organizing a Vince McMahon Appreciation Night.

McMahon did like the gesture but saw through it quickly. At the end of the episode, he walked through the entire roster of Superstars, who stared at him without emotion. Everyone knew something was up.

McMahon also thought it was odd at first. He proceeded walking to the grave when he was told by an assistant that his limousine was parked outside and not in the garage.

As he walked out the door, he saw two men chatting outside, backs towards the wall. McMahon glanced at them and continued walking towards his car.

He turned back again, looking at the same men suspiciously. He walked slowly into his famous white limousine and after a second, closed the door.

As soon as he did this, the car exploded with a deafening sound! The flames began engulfing the vehicle, and the camera crew was also jolted by this.

The entire WWE Universe was in shock. This scene was so real that it was alarming to many people.

A lot of people thought Vince McMahon was actually dead

Vince McMahon’s close friend and current US President Donald Trump even called up the WWE officials asking if anything had happened to McMahon after he watched the event on TV.

The reason this scene was so shocking was that no one knows how WWE did it. It was so perfectly orchestrated.

Later, Vince McMahon revealed that he was the one who staged his own death for reasons we’ll never know. The entire storyline was scrapped prematurely.

This was because former WWE Champion Chris Benoit was found dead in his house with his wife the same week. Vince McMahon had even built a coffin for himself, all of which was cut because of the tragic incident.

McMahon himself decided to end the storyline shortly after receiving the news.

This shocking scene will always go down as a loose end but is still exhilarating to watc. Needless to say, Mr. McMahon will probably always hold the record for being the only person to actually scare fans.
