

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer’s names are bound for an eternity. The promos, segments, and contributions of the duo have helped in enriching the essence of wrestling.
Even though both of them ensured to remain in character whenever the camera was rolling, sometimes they broke character. A video released by WWE showed a glimpse of Taker pranking Paul Bearer.
The original idea was for Taker to rise and hand Bearer the infamous urn. However, ‘The Deadman’ shook a rubber skull at Bearer instead, and the latter couldn’t help but break into laughter and so did others around.

The Undertaker and Paul Bearer story
Paul Bearer and The Undertaker shared a great storyline throughout their time in WWE.
The storyline picked up pace when Bearer forced The Undertaker to appoint him as manager in exchange for keeping a dark childhood secret safe. However, after a point, ‘The Phenom’ could not deal with it anymore, and Bearer exposed everything to the WWE audience.
He revealed Taker started a fire at his childhood home in which his parents and brother were burnt alive. ‘The Phenom’ claimed that it was an accident, and he has been living with the guilt ever since.

Following this, Bearer revealed his brother survived the fire. Paul Bearer introduced Kane shortly after this revelation, and thus began The Undertaker and Kane’s half-brother storyline.
The three of them provided a grand amount of entertainment to the audience.

Paul Bearer may not have been a pro-wrestler, but he showed the wrestling industry that a manager can have a character just as interesting as a Superstar.
An interesting fact about Paul Bearer: He portrayed a mortician in the storyline; additionally, he was a certified mortician in real-life.

Tragically, Paul Bearer [William Moody] passed away in 2013 because of a heart attack. WWE inducted him in the Hall of Fame in 2014.
