WWE put together the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar in an unlikely Tag Team on July 15, 2002.
The two of them were put together on WWE Raw against Ric Flair and Rob Van Dam. This was a tremendous surprise for the WWE Universe since the two of them had always been staunch rivals during their WWE run.

A glimpse into the history of The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar’s rivalry
The history of the behemoths’ rivalry echoed through the WWE arena since Lesnar’s debut.
Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker have had nothing but bad blood. This made the thirteen year long rivalry which kept the WWE Universe on its toes.
Every match that the two of them battled in, whether it was The Devil’s Playground or the Biker’s Chain match, they carved a niche for themselves.
The first time when The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar battled was back in 2002. Prior to this match, Lesnar had become the youngest WWE Champion after defeating The Rock. He had taken all that he could from Monday Night Raw.
Soon, he moved to SmackDown. This is where ‘The Deadman’ was waiting for ‘The Beast Incarnate’.
The Undertaker had already earned the spot for the top contender for the WWE Championship title. Lesnar made things personal when he tried using Taker’s wife, Sara, as a way of getting inside his head. All this action did was enrage ‘The Deadman’ further.
