Currently, Rusev is signed with AEW as Miro. He was one of the Superstars WWE released following the pandemic. However, fans continued to tune in to listen to his stream on Twitch.

He joined AEW in September 2020 as Kip Sabian’s best man. This was quite the surprise for the audience since there were no hints from him and neither had the company revealed anything prior to his debut.

Since his debut, Miro hasn’t had a championship run. It might happen soon considering he revealed that when the time comes and he can’t capture the AEW Championship, he will retire.
