Roman Reigns called out Bobby Lashley on an episode of Monday Night Raw back in 2018.

Reigns claimed that he wanted to see what Lashley could do to Reigns. Lashley responded by coming out to the ring, but Kurt Angle interrupted, asking both of them to wait.

Neither of the Superstars took the advice into account and attacked each other. Several Superstars ran out of the locker room to the ring to stop the two behemoths from engaging in a battle.

It was nothing short of utter madness.

No amount of effort could keep the two giants apart. Both of them kept cutting through the sea of Superstars to attack the other.

The exclamation point arrived when ‘The Big Dog’ took a dive from the ring, over the rope, and smashed into the entire group of Superstars and Lashley.

Why did Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley feud?

The rivalry started back in 2018 because both Superstars wanted to face Brock Lesnar for the Championship title. Reigns made the claim that it was his right, but Lashley disagreed.

This led to a friendly bout between the two. Unfortunately, it escalated to a point where they engaged in a match prior to Extreme Rules with the “go home” stipulation.

Bobby Lashley emerged victorious in the match against Roman Reigns to become a top challenger against Brock Lesnar.

The Big Dog and The Dominator share similar features

The interesting part about this rivalry was the similarities between the two. Both of them have received considerable backlash from the crowd for their storylines.

For example, WWE fans showered Lashley with criticism when he was put in a storyline with Lana and Rusev.

Reigns, on the other hand, has been no stranger to criticism ever since his debut.
