For hardcore wrestling fans, the autographs of their beloved wrestlers are extremely precious. But as soon as the ultimate moment comes when they could get their idol’s signature on something, they happen to gaffe. A similar incident happened recently when a fan gave a WWE Championship belt to an AEW superstar for signing. 

In the wrestling scene, considering the popularity of WWE, almost every wrestler would want to have their hands on the promotion’s championship belt once. However, the two-time AEW-TNT Champion, Darby Allin, wasn’t expecting a fan handing him a replica of the WWE Championship belt, as decoded by his reaction. Thus, the amusing scenario between the two makes it worthy of watching. 

When a fan requested Darby Allin to sign on a replica of the WWE Championship belt

A fan who was present at AEW Dynamite posted a small clip on TikTok and later on Twitter. In the video, one can see Allin was handed a fan’s memorabilia for signing after the latest edition of the Wednesday night show went off the air. Surprisingly, the item handed over to the AEW star was none other than a replica of the rival promotion’s championship belt. 

The reaction of Darby Allin to this surprising memorabilia that he wasn’t expecting at all, will leave you in waves of laughter for sure. Although he didn’t say anything, his constant stare at the little boy that offered him the WWE championship belt in itself was quite amusing. Even the security official standing beside him couldn’t control his smile. Also, the fans at the ringside area certainly enjoyed their time witnessing this. However, the superstar in the end signed the belt and went ahead, giving the fan a priceless moment to cherish forever. 

Keeping the amusing moment aside, we cannot forget that Allin is on the hunt for a world title. He is even confirmed to be challenging for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing.

Will Allin be able to become the next AEW World Champion?

On this week’s edition of Dynamite, Darby Allin teamed up with Jack Perry to take on AEW World Champion MJF and Sammy Guevara. This match was at high stakes as it had major implications for the Double or Nothing PPV. However, the result of the match came in favor of Allin and Perry after ‘The Devil’ and ‘The Spanish God’ finally turned on one another. 

With this, it’s quite evident that MJF’s title is in serious jeopardy now. And among the three challengers, Darby Allin appears to be a major threat. However, it remains to be seen if the history maker who defended his title against Preston could get his hands on his first AEW World Championship or not.
