Nia Jax became a part of WWE history at Royal Rumble 2019. She was the fourth woman ever to compete in the Royal Rumble Men’s match, and she entered as number 30.

She entered the ring and eliminated Mustafa Ali. Her next victim was supposed to be Rey Mysterio, but she missed it when Dolph Ziggler kicked her in the face. Right after this, Mysterio kicked her into the ropes.

While Jax was recovering from this, Randy Orton came from the back and RKO’d her. This was it for her. After this, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio teamed up to throw Jax outside the ring.

Even though she was a part of the ring for a brief span of time, it was an excellent way of making the WWE Universe aware of her skills as a Superstar.

The Superstars who made history before Nia Jax

Chyna (1999 and 2000)

The first time a woman crashed a Men’s Royal Rumble match was back in 1999 by Chyna. Popularly known as ‘The Ninth Wonder of the World’, Chyna opened a new chapter in history by feuding in the ring with her male counterparts.

She earned her spot for the match by winning the ‘Corporate Royal Rumble’ which Vince McMahon conducted to determine the number 30 entrant.

She added another bit of history to her achievements when she entered the Royal Rumble Men’s match in 2000 as well. This time, she eliminated Chris Jericho, and the crowd went berserk.

Beth Phoenix (2010)

A decade later, in 2010, Beth Phoenix entered the Royal Rumble Men’s match at number 6. This time, she was standing face to face with The Great Khali.

The behemoth tried to take it easy on her, but she eliminated him with her tricks. This put her name in the WWE history. Unfortunately, she was eliminated by CM Punk soon after.
