The WWE legend Hulk Hogan is the most decorated professional wrestler of all time. Every wrestling fan and amateur wrestlers look up to Hulk Hogan for inspiration. However, Paul Wight, aka Big Show, trolled Hulk Hogan back in the 2000s.
On the 30th of April 2000, WWE hosted a pay-per-view called Backlash. At this PPV, the 7ft Giant battled against The Olympic Gold medalist Kurt Angle. However, before Backlash, The Big Show and Kurt Angle were involved in a back-and-forth bout.

In addition, Big Show in the 2000s portrayed a bipolar gimmick. In many of his in-ring appearances, The Giant cosplayed different costumes.
The Big Show as Hulk Hogan?
Former World Champion Kurt Angle did not like Big Show having fun in the ring, so he slapped him out of nowhere and talked trash during his promos. So, finally, it was time for The Big Show to get his hands on Kurt Angle at the WWE Backlash 2000.
When The Giant entered the arena after Angle, he cosplayed the living legend, Hulk Hogan. Terry Boulder was also called The Hulkster inside the ring. However, when Big Show dressed up as Hulk Hogan, he called himself ‘The Showster.’ The wrestling fans went crazy, and even the commentators did not believe what they witnessed.
Paul Wight entered the Backlash arena wearing an all-yellow attire. The Giant was seen wearing a yellow trunk, a yellow headband, and yellow bottoms.
The Giant paid respect to The Hulkster in incredible fashion!
On The Big Shows’ chest, “Showster” was engraved with huge red font. The wrestling world enjoyed watching Paul Wight having a time in the ring.

As a result, The Big Show emulated Hulk Hogan in the middle of the ring when he acknowledged the crowd in Hulkamania style! The Monster may have had fun mimicking Hulk Hogan, but Angle certainly did not.
The Olympic Gold medalist was left in the dust inside the squared circle when The Big Show hit him with a huge chokeslam. After weeks of running and altercations between the two, The Giant had the upper hand on the former World Champion.

In the 2000s, we knew that Big Show was a fun-loving persona. However, other wrestlers wouldn’t make the 7-ft Giant angry. So even though The Big Show has impersonated Hulk Hogan, he paid respect to Hogan by winning the match.
It would have been an exciting card to watch The Hulkster vs. The Showster during that time!
